This is Halloween!

Halloween was quite an experience.  Evie practiced and practiced saying trick-or-treat and we talked about what we would do and say when we rang the door bell but she never got the courage to actually say it when the pressure was on.  She loved that she was a butterfly and talked about it all the time.  And the expression"going away" turned into "flying away" some how.  Where did it go? "It flew away."
Jonah didn't particularly like his costume.  The entire time he wore it he had this look on his face like, "Mom you have got to be kidding me." The few pictures we have of him smiling was probably the only time he smiled with it on.  Because of that we didn't keep it on for very long.
Overall Halloween was a blast and we made some savory memories this year!

I forgot to mention that we went to the corn maze with the kids.  At first Evie thought it was so much fun running up and down the aisles of corn.  We had races, played in the dirt, and collected corn stalks. About half way through Evie stopped running as fast and ended sitting down in the dirt.  She was DONE!  So Joey and I took turns, switching off, carrying the kids.  Jonah loved the corn maze.  He never had to do any work.  Joey found him a good corn stalk to wave and he thoroughly enjoyed the fresh air.
