It goes to show

My mother-in-law tends Evie and her cousin twice a week while the moms go to work. One day, when the kids were being too helpful with emptying the dishwasher (she was trying to load it), she put them up in high chairs and gave them each cereal in a bowl. Charlie, eager to try this wonderful treat grabs handfulls and begins to shovel them in his mouth. Evie on the other hand, despite all the times she refuses to, was sitting quietly with her arms folded, ready for someone to say the prayer. Charles, stopped to look at why Evie wasn't eating her cereal. He too, quickly folded his arms in hopes for a prayer. Despite how many times we've struggled to try to teach these little ones to be reverent and fold their arms, it goes to show although they are young in age, they really are listening.
