Something else that Genevieve does that just makes me laugh is the fact that she is the sweetest little mommy to her babies. She takes her special blanket and wraps them up and carries them around the house, laying them down in cubbies, on blankets, or in baskets so they can take a nap. Now, I thought this was all soo cute until I found out that when other children her age don't take the same kind of care for theses babies as she does... she can't let them play with the babies. She plays with her cousin Charles a couple times a week and they are super good friends. Well, he was trying to play with the babies too and she just had to keep taking over. She would try to "show" him how to do it and look at him while she was lifting the baby and putting it crib. Eventually Charlie gave up and just let her do the care taking.

Gentle little lady
For christmas we wanted to get Evie a "Little People" Nativity set. We thought it would be a good way to talk about Jesus as well as a really good that teaches her how to play imaginary. So, my brother hooked us up and got us a good deal. We pull out the little character: Mary, the donkey, baby Jesus and so forth. I showed her which one was the mommy and pretended that the baby was crying and the mommy gave the baby a kiss. Well,... before I knew it, everyone was giving everyone kisses. Baby Jesus was kissing the sheep and Mary was kissing the wisemen. Who knew things could turn on me? Despite the fact that Mary would be offended to find that she was kissing other men when she was betrothed to Joseph.... I laughed and encourage it. She was saying "Dada" while they were kissing.... so maybe she just confused which one was Joseph.
